About Us

Running M Ranch was founded by Ron and Laura Miller in the spring of 2005.  With a desire to raise their two young boys (now 3 sons!) in a rural setting, Ron and Laura decided to leave their busy lifestyle and careers in the Pharmaceutical Industry and return to the lifestyle Ron knew as a youth, ranching.  Their vision for Running M Ranch was to raise all natural Black Angus beef and market that beef directly to the consumer, thereby deleting the cost of “the middle man” while providing a delicious and healthy (hormone free and antibiotic free) alternative over mass production chain-store beef.  The Miller’s believe that the best quality beef comes from a herd that is healthy and humanely treated and that is raised in an environment that is cared for and valued.

Today Running M Ranch has over 200 head of cows and continues to grow as demand for high quality, all natural, Black Angus beef expands. In addition, the Millers are very active in their local community and county 4-H programs. Last year Cole Miller won Grand Champion Carcass and Grand Champion Showmanship at the county fair with a bottle calf he raised the previous year. Ron serves as a board member for the County Fair Board, board member for the local Pueblo County Stockman's Association, and is a voting delegate for the Pueblo County Farm Bureau.

About the Ranch

The Ranch is headquartered in beautiful Beulah, Colorado.  Beulah is a small, unincorporated community that is nestled in the foothills of the Wet Mountains, approximately 25 miles southwest of Pueblo, Colorado.

The town consists of about 900 families, Post Office, General Store, and two small restaurants.  The rich soils of the Beulah Valley, combined with the temperate weather of Southern Colorado, make it an ideal location for a working cattle ranch.  The Beulah valley is known for an outstanding mixture of lush native spring forages as well as some hard winter grasses that make for outstanding natural cattle forage.  For more information on Beulah, including the unique founding history of Christian settlers, rebels, outlaws and conmen, we recommend the following book:
